Too-cute trailer: Billy Crystal helps kid do a number two in Parental Guidance - with a youthful-looking Bette Midler!

After his return to form hosting the 2012 Oscars, Billy Crystal makes his big-screen comeback alongside another Hollywood icon: the Divine Miss M, otherwise known as the increasingly youthful-looking Bette Midler.

They seem to be having a ball — check out our Australian exclusive trailer for their new family comedy, Parental Guidance.

A round of applause for these two, who subject themselves to humiliation at the hands of naughty kids, including a boy who likes wearing mum's high heels and has trouble doing number twos.

Billy and Bette play Artie and Diane, whose daughter Alice (Marisa Tomei) asks them to take care of her three kids. Cue Modern Family and Parenthood-style embarrassing situations and all-round chaos.

Parental Guidance is in cinemas December 26.
