Viral vid: Robert Pattinson really hates Twilight

Robert Pattinson has barely hung up his vampire cape, but already fans have cut together a video of the hunky star laying into the Twilight series.

The video, a three-minute compilation of Rob's most sarcastic and scathing interviews over the years, has already gone viral on YouTube and generated hundreds of thousands of views.

Describing his approach to playing Edward, "It's kind of a mixture of looking slightly constipated and stoned ... which is quite easy to achieve!"

In another clip, R-Patz speaks with talk show host Jimmy Fallon, who asks if the series coming to a close is "bittersweet". Referring to the fans, Rob laughingly replies, "For them!"

Rob’s cynicism hasn’t slowed Breaking Dawn - Part 2’s success at the box office. The final film in the franchise has raked in more than $341 million in sales worldwide in its opening weekend. It’s already on track to break records, with three of the top 10 openings of all time now dominated by Twilight films.

Despite the ongoing popularity, Rob is clearly glad to finally break away from the fangs and glitter. Check out a snippet of the viral clip above for even more Robert Pattinson witticisms.

Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is out now in Aussie cinemas.
