Superman's back, baby! First full Man of Steel trailer

Make sure you're sitting down, Superman fans. What you're about to see may well be the reinvention of Superman film buffs have been waiting for.

The first full-length trailer for Zack Snyder's (Watchmen, 300) Superman reboot, Man of Steel, has arrived, and like its central superhero, it's rock solid.

Immortals star Henry Cavill brings a broody, gruff and hairy-chested aura to the part of Clark Kent/Superman, much like Christian Bale in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight series.

That's no coincidence either — Superman is a classic DC Comics hero like Batman, and Nolan is the producer of Man of Steel.

In the trailer alone we glimpse of Superman being arrested, and his new powers at work in some truly breath-taking sequences. There's also Russell Crowe as Superman's biological dad Jor-El, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as villain General Zod, and Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as Clark's adoptive parents.

Man of Steel is in cinemas June 27, 2013. Vote 'want to see' or 'not interested' on MovieBuzz!
