Watch: Dakota Fanning talks 'uncomfortable' first nude scene

When we first saw Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning making out in The Runaways, we knew that this former child star was finally growing up. But now her entrance into puberty is open as she is "finally allowed" to do her first scene in the buff for upcoming coming-of-age drama Very Good Girls.

"Yeah, well, I've never done that before and I'm very newly allowed to do that," the young actress told MTV at the Sundance Film Festival. Watch the video above to hear Dakota talk about her "uncomfortable" nude scenes.

Dakota's co-star Boyd Holbrook, who gets it on with her in the scene, also talked about the awkwardness of the sex scenes.

"As in life it's not always so perfect and glossy and seamless," he said.

"It's quite awkward sometimes, especially with what this film's about — it's going into life, first sexual experience — so it's all about the environment and not taking it too serious." Elizabeth Olsen also stars alongside 18-year-old Dakota Very Good Girls, a film about two girls trying to lose their virginity after high school with a sexy street artist — in what sounds like a Schoolies trip to hipster land.

Demi Moore and Jarhead's Peter Sarsgaard also star in the movie, which is set for release in 2013.
