Just in case you weren't convinced of Ashton Kutcher's uncanny resemblance to Apple entrepreneur Steve Jobs for his role in the upcoming jOBS new split images have been posted to Twitter demonstrating just this, and also Ashton's ability to look hot, even with a receding hairline.
The actor's personal make-up artist for the film, James McKinnon, perfected the transition. He is also partially responsible for 2010's Freddy Krueger makeup in Nightmare on Elm Street, the exceptionally creepy Mad Hatter makeup in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and ensuring the pointiness of Mr Spock's ears in the 2009 Star Trek remake.
A scene from jOBS was released last week by Entertainment Tonight, in which Steve Jobs (Ashton) and his Apple co-creator Steve Wozniak (portrayed by Josh Gad) geek out about computers. Watch below.
The real Wozniak recently went on a rant about the scene being inaccurate.
"Totally wrong," he told Gizmodo. "Personalities and where the ideas of computers affecting society did not come from Jobs."
"We never had such interaction and roles ... personalities are very wrong although mine is closer."
"I never looked like a professional. We were both kids. Our relationship was so different from what was portrayed. I'm embarrassed, but if the movie is fun and entertaining, all the better," he continued.
"The initial exposure to the social meaning of a technology revolution went in a very different direction in those early times."
"The fact that it didn't happen is unimportant. The important thing is whether the meaning portrayed is correct.
"A more accurate portrayal would be myself in the Homebrew Computer Club (with Steve Jobs up in another state and not aware of it) being inspired by liberal humanist academics from Berkeley and Stanford and other places speaking of these high social goals."
Check out the scene responsible for his rant below.
