From the pigtailed daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin to a tween TV star in her own right, Bindi Irwin has grown up before our eyes.
Now, at the ripe old age of 14, Bindi is becoming a glamorous and articulate young woman who, like most teenage girls, likes to talk about teenage boys!
TheFIX caught up with Bindi on the promo trail for her first cinema release, Return to Nim's Island, and found out just how she handles boys. Are they worth trusting? Watch her cheeky response above!
One young guy in Bindi's life is her Nim co-star, Neighbours actor Toby Wallace. See what she had to say about her first male on-screen "love interest" (for want of a better term), and his One Direction Harry Styles haircut!
Bindi also tells us about her struggles to nail an American accent, even though her mum Terri has one.
In the family adventure sequel to the 2008 hit Nim's Island, Bindi takes up the role played by Little Miss Sunshine's Abigail Breslin, and ties it in with her message as a real-life eco-warrior.
Nim and her scientist dad Jack (The Descendants' Matthew Lillard) fight to protect their island from poachers (including a fearsome John Waters) and developers, with the help of handsome castaway Edmund (Toby).
Return to Nim's Island is in cinemas for the Easter school holidays, from March 28 in Queensland and the Northern Territory, April 4 in Victoria, April 11 in New South Wales, South Australia and the ACT, and April 18 in Western Australia and Tasmania.
