From someone whose family has mental illness in it I believe it was a refreshing, honest, truthful interpretation of how mental illness and it's different types and manifestations can affect all of us. It was emotional and thoughtful and thought provoking. It didn't shy away from the hard stuff. It didn't just give us the obligatory happy ending. It showed that life is crap sometimes, but you have to work hard to find your silver lining. I think it was a brilliant movie.
