If you're a fan of John Marsden's best-selling Tomorrow series, you're going to love this: the first official trailer for the highly anticipated film adaptation, only on MovieFIX.
Director and screenwriter Stuart Beattie told MovieFIX he's "thrilled" to finally show off part of Tomorrow: When the War Began.
"I've been working so hard on it for so long that I just want people to see it," he said. "We've had two test screenings of it so far and... they loved it."
Beattie, who wrote the screenplays for Hollywood mega-hits such as G.I. Joe and Pirates of the Caribbean, confessed that his favourite bit of the teaser is a sneak peek of a massive explosion that hurls star Lincoln Lewis off his feet.
"That was filmed in one take... it just worked magically," he said. "Lincoln somehow got that high in the air. I don't know how he did that. The other actors had no idea the explosion would be that big. So their reactions are genuine. They were scared s***less!"
Tomorrow: When the War Began opens in cinemas on September 2.
